Shreyas C. Nagaraj is a Vehicle Technology Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads strategy and innovation for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous driving, and software-defined vehicle solutions across the automotive and manufacturing industry.
With more than 20 years of automotive technology experience spanning OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and hyperscalers — including General Motors, Magna International, and dSPACE — he brings deep expertise in ADAS/AV system engineering, embedded hardware and software development, HIL/SIL simulation, and cloud-based validation. His work focuses on modernizing embedded software development and verification & validation at scale, bridging traditional automotive engineering rigor with cloud-native and AI-driven approaches.
Holding an Executive MBA and an MS in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from Michigan State University, he combines business strategy with hands-on technical depth in functional safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO 21448), and Automotive SPICE® compliance.
