Patrick Miller

Patrick Miller is Executive Director of Software Quality Assurance at Ford Motor Company, where he leads strategy for software product and organizational defect prevention, problem solving, and supplier quality across Ford’s software organization, with influence spanning more than 6,000 engineers. He defines the policies and processes governing software quality across Ford’s vehicle programs, embedding engineering discipline to ensure quality outcomes. Prior to joining Ford, Patrick spent 15 years at Aptiv in engineering systems, software, and leadership roles, ultimately serving as Global Director of Software Quality, with a focus on Automotive SPICE. An INTACS® Automotive SPICE Assessor and sponsor, Patrick has overseen the execution of more than 200 supplier assessments over a five-year span and continues to apply ASPICE as a lever for supplier quality at Ford. He is also a contributor to AIAG’s Software PPAP initiative and is passionate about solving organizational challenges by connecting engineering systems cohesively.
