Summary

With deep expertise in automotive software process improvement, I bring a comprehensive background in ASPICE implementation, CMMI-based process maturity, and Six Sigma methodologies. Over the past 20 years, I have enabled engineering organizations and suppliers to align with industry standards and achieve operational excellence through structured process definition, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. I am also a certified Provisional Assessor. I am also Six Sigma Green Belt certified. I have also completed IATF 16949:2016 Requirements and Internal Auditor Training Course.

 

I have led successful ASPICE Level 2 implementations, tailoring process frameworks to suit both Agile and V-model-based projects. My hands-on approach includes guiding teams through gap analysis, process rollout, internal audits, coaching, and assessment readiness. I work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed ASPICE practices without disrupting delivery cycles, ensuring that quality and compliance become integral to the development lifecycle.

Experience

Chad is also on the ISO/TC 176, ISO/TC 207, PC283 committees for ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management Systems. Chad has published numerous papers and six books about Management Standards and Quality. He is the author of three books on Quality Standards including two on the Auditing Process.
Chad has published a book on Integrated Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 Auditing with the American Society for Quality. Chad is the founder of AQSR, a global registrar that routinely provided integrated audits in QMS, EMS, and OHSMS.
Chad has conducted hundreds of audits in many different sectors from Aerospace to Steel to Distributors to Electronics and Semiconductors in North America, Asia, and Europe in the last 20 years.

Chad is a member of ISO TC 176, TC 207, Functional Safety andAS 9115 for Software Quality. He is a Principal Assessor and a provisional trainer for ASPICE.
